I know the course well now and that will make it more interesting.

RajeevRajeevhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05440842184525325640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27423699.post-1161970764768610652006-10-27T10:39:00.000-07:002006-10-27T10:39:00.000-07:00Thank Rajeev for the story about Norm Klein.Indeed...Thank Rajeev for the story about Norm Klein.

Indeed, Norm is a fantatic RD that I ever know. In AR50 this year, I was actually standing beside him at PA area for a while, asking about all other friends (you, Yuki, etc) on this year tricky course. I could feel a little his magic but did not know him at all at that time.

However, his style, passion on ultrarunning, and personality immediately attracted me for the first time in the RDL briefing.

I found one thing interesting when I called him about how to get to RDL without driving (spare the air). He probably does not use omnipresent emails, but prefer receiving phone calls and talking in person. Perhaps Rajeev will not send him this URL, but call him about our compliments :-)

Yes, Norm was WS100 RD for 15 years before the millenium and set up a couple of standards. I'm glad and proud to know him - such a honorable legend in ultrarunning!

At last, I'll run HK50 (he personally wrote something on the confirmation) and be happy to see him (and you all - my friends) again. And, no doubt, RDL is my must-do every year.

Best,

ChihpingAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
